There’s a curious but irritated expression lingering on his pale face; the technology is straightforward enough to understand, but the bigger picture isn’t quite as easy to figure out. It’s not hard to tell that he’s panicking somewhat beneath the calmer exterior.]

If anyone can hear this, please, can you explain to me exactly what the hell is going on? I woke up in this strange room, in a building that doesn’t seem to know what it wants to do with itself, and I’m almost certain this is no longer my dream. [There’s a passing look of distaste.] I’m much more organised, for one thing. And I rarely lose control of a dream I’ve created, for another, not to mention the décor…

[He takes out something small and red from the depths of his jacket pocket, the camera just about able to pick up the loaded die, which he balances on the palm of his hand. He then proceeds to roll it over the nearest flat surface. He seems more baffled by the outcome of this and looks back into the camera.]

Whatever this is, whoever’s responsible for it, I’m officially not impressed.

[But it’s clear to see that he’s at least a little bit fascinated by it all, though disorientated, and until he gains some answers he’s going to assume something’s gone awry with the PASIV – either that, or he’s fallen into Limbo.]
